Station 1 is the longest serving station in operation for the city. First placed in service in 1912 in the back of the Blacksmith shop on 6th Street and a newly constructed station was built in 1953 across the street to accompany the growing department and increasing equipment size. This is the longest serving station with deep history.
Station 1 is the home to Engine 1, Ladder 1, and Rescue/Hazmat 1. Station responds to a variety of residential and commercial calls.
