Station 2 serves the south side of the city. Opened in 1928, Station 2 has seen its share of renovations and upgrades. Station 2 covers mainly residential homes, apartments and townhomes as well as small commercial.
Since being surrounded by residential, the firefighters of Station 2 host an annual bbq/picnic for the resident’s of Stony Creek. The annual picnic has grown from a neighborhood gathering in the bays of Station 2 to a sponsored event held at nearby “Firefighters Park” and is now a city celebrating picnic called Stony Spirit.
Station 2 is the home to Engine 2 and Ladder 2.
